Open-top containers
Open Top Containers are available for sale in 20-foot and 40-foot sizes, and feature completely removable “rag top” roofs.
Excellent storage for loose or bulk materials such as:
- Wood chips
- Recyclables
- Waste materials
- Construction debris
- Agricultural products
These containers are designed to hold items that must be loaded by crane or crab from the side and/or top, or that are too tall to fit in a normal dry van (see also flatracks for over-height cargo).
The roof bows and tarpaulin on an open top container can be completely removed. In addition, the door header can usually be swiveled out of the way for even easier access.
