Prime location and available capacity
Interport's prime location and available capacity are unique among New York-area depots. Less than ½ mile from Port Newark, our expandable depot facility currently provides for the storage of up to 20,000 TEU.
State-of-the-art information technology
Interport's ongoing improvements to its information technology are focused on customer service enhancements, cost containment, and capacity increases. Detailed descriptions of these initiatives and a presentation of IDS, Interport's proprietary depot management system, are available upon request.
To facilitate our customers' participation in the sometimes complex process of managing their depot-related activities, Interport has created IDS Web, an interactive section of our company Web site providing secure access for registered users to the real-time data in our proprietary database.
